Beyonce September Issue of Vogue

no comment

Unless you live under a rock I’m pretty sure you know that Beyonce is on the cover of Vogue’s September issue. I’ve always been a huge fan of Beyonce but her realness in this article made me love her more. With the pressures to be perfect due to social media, Beyonce opened up about giving birth and how she took some much needed time to give herself some self-love saying “I was 218 pounds the day I gave birth to Rumi and Sir. I was swollen from toxemia and had been on bed rest for over a month. My health and

Hair by Angela C. Styles I’ve been following Angela C. Styles since her break out role in WE Tv’s La Hair back in 2012. Angela had always been my favorite on the show, her castmates didn’t feel the same as me though. To me, they were intimidated by her. I had always felt that she was going to be bigger than the show, and maybe in bigger than Kim Kimble.  About 3 years ago Angela chopped all her hair off, I was kinda shocked. Here you have this beautiful hair stylist who could do anything she wanted with her hair, but

This week Elle Magazine released its July issue with Nicki Minaj on the cover. After a four year break, she’s back with a new Album “Queen”, but it’s not her new album that has me hype, it’s her personal growth, and the fact that for the first time in 15 years she single. I feel like what’s wrong with me? Why am I

With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts. Eleanor Roosevelt If you’ve been reading my blog then you know I totally lost myself in my relationship. But starting over and getting motivated doesn’t always mean it must be after a relationship. You can’t start over after the depression, or maybe even a traumatic event. Now before I got into my relationship I had hobbies, one way of getting motivated is Getting Back to your Hobbies. Dancing and Writing were two of my favorite hobbies. Though I haven’t gotten back into dancing just yet, as you can see I

Friends You Should Have in your Corner

So Friday I experience the worst heartbreak that I have ever experienced. I didn’t think I could ever experience that pain. What’s the first thing you do when you’re hurt? You call your friends. I have to tell you guys I have some of the best friends a girl could ever ask for. I’m not gonna discuss the happened because I’m not ready yet. I think it’s important to have closure in any relationship that ends – from a romantic relationship to a friendship. You should always have a sense of clarity at the end and know why it began

How Can We Stop Bullying

no comment

I remember vividly in the 6th grade when the bullying started. I can remember one day while sitting in my English last someone slipped a note on my desk. “You are ugly,” it said. I looked up at the person who passed me the note; a group of girls were looking at me laughing at me. I put my head down in sadness and asked myself “why do they hate me so much” to keep me from crying I put my head down and continued to read my history book. A few moments later another note was slipped on
