With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts. Eleanor Roosevelt
If you’ve been reading my blog then you know I totally lost myself in my relationship. But starting over and getting motivated doesn’t always mean it must be after a relationship. You can’t start over after the depression, or maybe even a traumatic event.
Now before I got into my relationship I had hobbies, one way of getting motivated is Getting Back to your Hobbies. Dancing and Writing were two of my favorite hobbies. Though I haven’t gotten back into dancing just yet, as you can see I have gotten back to my passion for writing.
I’m going to 100% honest before I got into my relationship, and maybe even before college, I had no purpose at least I didn’t know what it was. One key to starting over is Find your purpose in life. Now I prayed and prayed to God to help me find my purpose, and a fought with God for a few months about it. He won of course. My purpose is simply to help people that deal with the same issues I have been through.
Don’t stalk your ex. Now I have never been one to stalk my ex online, but there was one time when I saw a photo of him on Facebook at the Grand Prix in Long Beach. It pissed me off because I had asked him for years to take me to the Grand Prix and here this Ass-hole was, there at the Grand Prix rubbing it into my face. I sent me into a slump where I almost contemplated getting back with him, just so he could do the things I beg him for. So yeah, stalking your ex will only piss you off and send you into a downward spiral.
Just Write Down Your Goals, and Success is Guaranteed! This sounds SO cliché but it works. Every Goal I have written for myself I have achieved them. I have even created a vision board, and those goals are started to happen.
Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible. Tony Robbins
I was so down on myself, I felt like I had bad luck. I mean everything was crumbling around me. I was angry at myself for wasting so much time. I had to realize Latavia Nicole Just Try to Do Your Best! I started a gratitude journal, I started writing down everything good that I did in the day. I realize I was doing a damn good job. It’s not easy starting over and motivating your self. So, don’t be so hard on yourself. So, yourself some compassion.
Nobody can predict the future. You just have to give your all to the relationship you’re in and do your best to take care of your partner, communicate and give them every last drop of love you have. I think one of the most important things in a relationship is caring for your significant other through good times and bad. Nick Cannon
Just Visualize Success! The meaning of success to me is happiness, and I have achieved that just by visualizing it. Now I am visualizing so much more. Just keep watching.
